How Does the Body “Update” Itself?

## Overview of cells Old cells are immediately replaced by new ones. For example, gastrointestinal epithelium cells are replaced within 3–5 days. Erythrocytes live 120 days. Lung cells are completely renewed within a year and liver cells within two years. Only teeth and nerve cells are not able to recover quickly and require very careful treatment. Perhaps the reason is that the worst enemy of teeth — sugar, as well as constant stress, which depletes the nervous system, have become more prominent in recent years. Nature did not count on such subtle ways to harm your health. ## What affects the renewal process? If the "repair" of the body is so organized and timely, what prevents us from always being healthy and young? The answer is simple — our lifestyle significantly affects all processes in the body. __Useful substances__: new cells are built from what is saved after the death of the old cells and from food. If the "building materials" are lacking or of poor quality, the new cells do not form as well as they should. __Oxygen__: much depends on the air we breathe. Large amounts of toxins and a lack of oxygen interfere with the regeneration process. __Movement__: lack of physical activity leads to a decrease in the intensity of blood circulation and lymph outflow, the formation of stagnation zones, and the accumulation of toxic substances. __Sleep__: most of the "recovery" work is done when we sleep. If we don't sleep enough, our body doesn't have time to carry out all the necessary actions to replace old cells with new ones. __Bacteria__: pathogens can disrupt the formation of new cells. __Smoking__: it promotes poor circulation, leads to irritation of the mucosa of the upper respiratory tract, a lack of oxygen, the accumulation of toxins in the lungs, and, consequently, slows and complicates regeneration. __Alcohol__: abuse of alcoholic beverages damages liver cells, has a devastating effect on beneficial intestinal microflora, reduces the activity of the immune system. This can lead to the development of chronic infectious diseases so that the cells are not up to renewal. These may seem like commonplace truths, but often something prevents us from following them. Let's set a course for renewal in the New Year. We shouldn't give up everything all at once. Abrupt changes lead to breakdowns and stress, which as we know is destructive to the nervous system. By even slightly adjusting habits and lifestyles, we will help our cells to regenerate and prevent numerous unpleasant health problems. Of course, __Ornament__ will support you in every way possible to help you in your health journey and ensure you feel great!
