## Saturated fats
This type of fat, which is found in red meat, processed meat, fast food and fatty dairy products, is considered the most harmful. Consuming large amounts of saturated fats leads to obesity, which is one of the risk factors for several types of [cancer](https://ul.orna.me/KOge/librarydisease?id=39) including colon, breast, esophageal, gallbladder, kidney and endometrial.

## Trans fats
Trans fats are made from vegetable fats by hydrogenation and are found in spreads and margarine. The body does not absorb trans fats at all, so they circulate in the blood for a long time, increasing the number of free radicals that destroy healthy cells and reducing the positive effects of antioxidants. The result is an increased risk of cancer.
## Fried foods
During frying, heating oil produces ===carcinogenic compounds called peroxides. Carcinogens disrupt the program of our DNA and cause malfunctioning of all the cells in the body.
> Carcinogens are formed in meat, even if you fry it without oil in a non-stick pan.

Cancer cells feed on sugar from the bloodstream, so they love refined sugar as it instantly raises insulin levels and promotes tumor growth. In addition, a large amount of sweets in the diet leads to excess weight, which increases the likelihood of many cancers.
## Refined flour
Refined flour (wheat and other types) contains a lot of fast carbohydrates, which sharply increase blood glucose levels and increase insulin production. This creates ideal conditions for the development of diabetes and malignant neoplasms.
## Canned foods
Canned foods that have involved methods of preservation such as salting, curing, fermenting, smoking, etc. are also carcinogenic.
## Alcohol
Excessive alcohol consumption increases the risk of developing cancers of the mouth, pharynx and larynx, esophagus (squamous cell cancer), liver, colon and breast (especially in postmenopause).
