A detailed study of the qualitative and quantitative composition of blood, during which the characteristics of erythrocytes and their specific parameters (MCV, MCH, MCHC, RDW), leukocytes and their varieties in percentage (leukocyte formula) and platelets are given, and the erythrocyte sedimentation rate (ESR) is determined. It is used to diagnose and control the treatment of many diseases. This study helps to identify a wide range of diseases, from anemia and inflammation to coagulation disorders and oncological processes.

Preparation for the study:

·It is recommended to donate blood for examination on an empty stomach (in the morning; for children - before the next feeding).

·At least 4 hours must elapse between the last meal and blood collection.

· Avoid strong drinks (coffee, strong tea, alcohol) on the eve of the test
